From weddings to families, and now here. Honest, intimate, connected portrait sessions with women and their loved ones are what keep me going.
I live in Albany, Oregon with my husband and our two kids, Mae and Callum. We like to take life slow and dream of a homestead in the not-to-distant future. As a family, we are pro-people; pro-choice, pro-LGBTQIA+, pro-BLM. The space in front of my camera is safe.

When I am photographing you, making sure that you get beautiful photos to look back on, and feel safe and comfortable in the process is all that matters.
Photos should be fun! Grumpy kids and partners always leave my sessions with a smile. If you aren't having fun, why are we taking photos?
The space in front of my camera is safe. My business is pro-LGBTQIA+, pro-BLM, pro-choice, pro-people. Hate will not be tolerated. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, I am always working to make marginalized people feel safe in my business, and the world at large.

MY PHILOSOPHY
I'm incredibly sentimental about the strangest things, like the first rock my daughter gave me when she was a year old, or a sad plant my husband brought home because he knew I could nurse it back to life.
I have been vegan since June 2017 and love the way I get to eat. Cafe Yumm is favorite place to eat out. I must admit it, I am a coffee addict. So much so that I have a tattoo of the chemical structure of caffeine on my ribs, as well as an ever growing collection of tattoos all over the rest of my body.
I'm obsessed with tiny living, and if I could convince my husband, I would live in a tiny house right now. I love minimalism as a philosophy, but hoard plants and love eclectic interior design.

I believe that the value of a human lies simply in their existence. You are valuable, because you are here. You have a unique story, experience, and outlook that plays into everything you do and every decision you make. The differences, similarities, and shared experiences that we all have with each other is mind blowing to me.
Having the opportunity to meet people, and photograph their story from my unique perspective is an honor that fills me up with so much excitement and creativity.
Beautiful locations are awesome, and I love shooting at them every chance I get, but a location has never taken my breath away like the love between two people can.

When you decide that you would like me to photograph your family, wedding, or simply a day at home, it's on! I'm going to get to know you, what you like, what you don't, and capture your most authentic self.
I'm a firm believer that my job as a photographer is to document, not stage. We'll focus on prompts more than poses, and real expression over strained smiles.
Think of me as the photojournalist for your life. You deserve to have their story told, and preserved.
